Verdon

ここは聖ヴィクトワール山からは車で二時間ほどの場所です。ちょっと遠い。
折り重なる山々の間にこのような美しい湖があります。

It is about two hours from the camping in Mt. Victoire. A bit far away.
Between the mountains there was such a beautiful lake.

水の色がこんなエメラルドなのは、水中の酸素量が豊富だからなんだとか。
ウィンドサーファーなどが心地よさそうに水面を滑っていました。

The striking colour of the water is because of high oxigen I heard.
Windsurfers and like kinds were sriding the water surface.

谷、かなり深いです。この写真をとった橋からは、バンジージャンプをやっている人々がいました。
下に落ちていくひとを見るだけで気が遠くなるような高さでした。

Vallies were deep. From this bridge where I took this picture, there were
bunch of people doing bungy-jumping.
I felt almost faint as I watched the person falling into the abyss.
