Sainte Victoire

研修が終わるのあわせてルットがセンターまで迎えに来てくれました。
センターのお向かいには聖ヴィクトワール山という山がそびえています。
ここから車で十五分の、エクス・アン・プロヴァンスに生まれ育った画家のセザンヌが、好んで描いた山です。
二日の昼過ぎに研修を終えてすぐ、この山の中腹にあるキャンプ場へ向かいました。
結局ここは気持ちがよくて、11泊しました。
Verdon、Avignion、Rousillon、Aixとイタリア以外の写真は全部このキャンプ場から車でいきました。

Ruud came to Centre to pick me up.
On the other side of the Centre across the vally is the mountain Sainte Victoire.
Cezanne painted this mountain very often.
Those Cezanne's images were familier to me because I liked his paintings as kid.
Right after the training we went up there straight away.
It was so confortable here that we stayed eleven nights.
Verdon, Avignion, Rousillon, Aix were all visited from here.

土地の野菜をたっぷり使って、夕食の準備に入ります。
漁港でもあるマルセイユが近いせいかお魚類はスーパーで安かったです。

Fish were relatively cheap compared to Holland, maybe
because Marseille is nearby?

これはお母さん用に撮ったかな。興味津々かなと思って。
こんな便利なガス台があるんです。折りたためるんですよ。けっこう火力も強い！
おなべも折りたためるキャンプ用のものです。

This I took mainly for my mother. I thought she was curious.
It is portable and the fire is also strong.
The pans are too portable type.

拡大しまくったのでわかりづらいでしょうが、なんと啄木鳥です！キャンプ場に頻繁に出没。
わたしもルットも、自然のものは初めて見ました。
チョコチョコした動きがかわいらしかったです。

I expanded the image so much that maybe you have difficulties
in recognizing him... but he is a woodpecker!
Both Ruud and I saw for the first time in wild.

ここはもう中腹なこともあって、「高いな！」 って感じはしないですけどね。

わかりづらいですが、中央にある白い割と大きな点状のものが、研修を受けていたセンターです。
ちょうど谷をはさんでお向かいなんですね。ブドウ畑は場所さえあれば……という感じです。

Wine yards are overall whereever they can manage the cultivation...

もうすぐ太陽が山の向こうに沈みます。これから先まだちょっとは明るいんですけど。
麦を刈ったあとなのでしょうか。プロヴァンスには、この茶系の色がわりと多いのですが、大変郷愁を感じさせました。
オランダがいつも緑だからでしょうか。

The sun is almost going down.
Is this after harvesting some sort of grain?
In France we see a lot of brawnish kinds of tones of colours which makes me a bit
nostargic. Maybe it is becuase Holland is always green?
